From the outskirts of Cape Town to a studio in Botany, this series was 8 years in the making. I saw this bus stop slowly being eaten by the encroaching sand dunes while on a fashion shoot with my long time collaborator Natali D. I have kept this photo in my archives waiting for the right project.

8 years on, shooting with another long time creative collaborator Hayden James, we were discussing the themes around his upcoming album and I just saw him sitting at this hyperreal bus stop, eternally waiting for his ride.
In this post-AI world, I wanted to blur the lines better real and hyperreal. Find that liminal space between reality and fiction, now and the unknown future.

This photo then inspired the following 3 single covers, which were shot in and around Sydney.

Thank you @haydenjames for your open heart and mind. So so proud of this work, and thank you to the whole team.
